Sveta Kohli 'AZAD' is an Artist-Educator: Fashion Designer, Stylist, Interior Designer, Actor and Counselor/Advocate.

Sveta the Designer:

Sveta Kohli holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), English Literature, and Political Science from Delhi University, Diploma in Interior Design and Display from New Delhi Polytechnique as well as a Post-Graduation Diploma in Marketing Management from Centennial College. She also studied at OCAD University taking courses in Advanced Designing, Drafting, Rendering and History of Architectural studies. Sveta has developed a unique style juxtaposing stunning craftsmanship on luxurious fabrics from the east for western classical, contemporary lifestyle. Her passion for fashion, creative zeal and understanding of antiquated designs and innovative use of traditional crafts has created a new romanticism in fashion. Each garment is exquisitely crafted and is an investment piece. It is handcrafted, classy, and unique with distinctive use of color palette, quality fabric, intricate embroidery and magnificent Indian aesthetic. The brand: Sveta's Creations mission is to push boundaries of race, gender and class. It is aimed for all Women (straight and/or LGBTQ2S) that enjoy a one-of-a-kind inducing bold statement; sophisticated and luxurious designer garment. Sveta was selected as one of the five top new designers by the Ontario Fashion Exhibitors for the September 2003 market. She was selected to design for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundations Celebrity Bra Auction 2004 and 2005. Sveta's Creations has been featured as editorial picks; seen as the featured Designer at The ROM in 2004 and 2005, Global TVs Diva on the Dime, and Style by Jury on WTN. Her creations have aired innumerable times on OMNI TV, National Post, Eastern Trends, and Desi Magazine. In the past, Sveta's Creations limited collection was available at It's made, Naturally Petite and Felicia's Collection Boutiques in Ontario.

As a feminist Counselor and social justice Advocate, Sveta the Designer is motivated by her personal journey; ripples effects after sexual assault. She is committed to finding interconnected paths through which fashion can mitigate injustices, inspire new forms of social collective engagement and discover new tools for empowerment, and autonomy for women.

Sveta the Actor:

Sveta Kohli is past member of ACTRA and completed her Acting I, II, III in Film and Television Certificate, Acting, Screenplay writing at George Brown College. She was the popular host of Indian show 'Sounds of Asia' on City TV and has worked with acclaimed Canadian Directors Atom Egoyan and Deepa Mehta. She is trained in Indian Classical dance under the world famous Bharat Natyam exponent Guru Sonal Man Singh. Her other accomplishments include Forum Theater, Docudramas, Industrials and commercials. My services are useful for those who appreciate an eclectic lens in art history, antiquity; enjoy luxurious custom materials and one of a kind design and furniture. Whether you want to embrace simplicity by bringing in the divine natural elements or embrace the ambiance of diversely rich heritage with tone, sumptuous patterns and colors beloved by maharajas for centuries; I will assist you with juxtaposing both with harmony. The result is creation of a romantic, spacious, warm and inviting space.
Full Service Interior Design: I will assist you in the design process, including floor plan suggestions, material selections, paint decisions, and furniture and accessory sourcing, from start to finish. My services include, but are not limited to, furniture, accessories, and textiles selection; paint and material selection, kitchen and bath design concepts . Sveta can come on board to help select materials for a semi-custom build, or happy to help you through a renovation, no matter the size. I am happy and comfortable working with builders from the very beginning of the design process for custom builds: Residential- custom-designed rooms and homes; business, hospitality areas, and restaurants.

Photo Shoot Styling: Planning to sell you home, condominium to attract the best price. I will style your products so they look stunning in photographs.
